Dishes were minimal and not as exciting as others days, but well done to the winners for making it through to Friday’s regional heat. It seems the more you tell the judges you love them, the more likely you are to get through; contestants take note. ‘Britain’s Best Dish’ Mary Nightingale, Jilly Goolden, Ed Baines and John Burton Race.
